Vapaaehtoistyö My Animal Reiki Story - from RSPCA volunteer to Accredited Professional 2020 oli vuosi, jolloin aloitin vapaaehtoistyön RSPCA:ssa! Olen intohimoinen eläinten hyvinvoinnista (ja iso pehmo), joten päätin kasvattaa kissan, joka tarvitsee turvallisen, rakastavan kodin! Pian sen jälkeen, kun Tiggs (kuvassa kanssani oikealla) tuli kanssani kotiin, aloin huomata hänen käytöksessään huomattavan muutoksen, kun annoin hänelle Reikin! Hän rentoutuisi fyysisesti makuulle ja sai hyvin autuaan ulkonäön - siellä olisi myös kehrää ja kissanpennunomaista pyörimistä lattialla! Ei vain sitä, vaan myös Tiggsin yleinen tunnetila ja hyvinvointitasot alkoivat muuttua. Hänestä tuli erittäin stressaantunut, erittäin tarkkaavainen poika (joka hyppäsi pienimmässäkin äänessä ja kaatui, jos hän vahingossa kaatui jotain tai sai minut kynsillä leikkiin) viileäksi ja elegantiksi lounge-liskoksi, joka venytteli. hänen suosikkijäähdyttimellään tai ikkunalaudalla! Älä ymmärrä minua väärin - Tiggs stressaantuu edelleen ajoittain, mutta hänen yleinen käytöksensä ja emotionaalinen sietokykynsä ovat parantuneet niin paljon - hän on kuin eri poika! Aikani siellä opettaa minulle niin paljon, antaa minulle mahdollisuuden muodostaa yhteys ja auttaa vahvistamaan ja parantamaan kauniita, lempeitä sieluja, jotka ovat usein kokeneet traumoja, hyväksikäyttöä ja fyysisiä ongelmia. Se voi olla ajoittain sydäntä särkevää, mutta heidän hämmästyttävä sitkeys ja kykynsä taas luottaa on niin vahva - he ovat sankareitani! Rakastan heitä kaikkia ja haluan auttaa heitä niin paljon kuin voin. (Jos joku ihmetteli, Tiggs on kasvatti epäonnistunut! ) Ema on ollut vapaaehtoistyössä RSPCA Warrington, Halton & St Helensin haaratoimistossa jo jonkin aikaa, ja hänen tekemänsä muutokset ovat merkittäviä! Ema on aina niin rauhallinen, ymmärtäväinen ja kärsivällinen eläimiä kohtaan. Hän kysyy aina erilaisista tavoista, joilla kukin eläin mieluummin vastaanottaa Reikiä ja on erittäin mukautuva kunkin eläimen tarpeisiin. Suurin osa hoitoomme tulevista eläimistä on kärsinyt pahoinpitelystä tai laiminlyönnistä, jota kohtaan Ema osoittaa todellista myötätuntoa. Eman tietämys ja taito on niin mahtava voimavara, joka meillä on toimipisteessämme. Olemme kaikki äärettömän kiitollisia Eman antamasta ajasta ja sitoutumisesta ja suosittelemme hänen palveluaan 100 % kaikille ja kaikille eläimille, jotka tarvitsevat lisäapua/tukea.
