Animal Reiki Event sessions at Dogfest

Reiki is a non-invasive treatment, which is done over clothing, and is safe and suitable for people and animals of all ages and physical conditions. Reiki is recognised by the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council as having no contra-indications when given as a stand-alone treatment (i.e. not in combination with any other therapy such as massage, aromatherapy etc). Reiki can be given as a hands-off treatment, or using light touch (or both). If you're sensitive to light touch, or would like your practitioner to avoid working on any particular areas of your body, please mention this to them before the treatment starts. If you want to stop or pause treatment, or if you aren't enjoying something about the treatment, please do let the practitioner know (if you open your eyes or move/speak, they will stop the treatment, and check in with you).

I understand that a Reiki session for animals with Ema Melanaphy does not replace veterinary advice, expertise or treatment.

Should the above animal become ill or injured at any time between now and completion of this course of Animal Reiki treatments (if applicable), I will inform my vet and Ema Melanaphy.

If the animal receiving Reiki is currently being treated/under observation by a veterinary practitioner [I have veterinary permission for my dog to receive Reiki energy-work from Ema Melanaphy.]
