Voluntariat My Animal Reiki Story - from RSPCA volunteer to Accredited Professional El 2020 va ser l'any que vaig començar a ser voluntari amb la RSPCA! M'apassiona el benestar animal (i un gran softe), així que vaig decidir acollir un gat que necessitava una llar segura i amorosa! Poc després que Tiggs (a la foto amb mi a la dreta) tornés a casa amb mi, vaig començar a notar un canvi notable en el seu comportament quan li vaig donar Reiki! Es relaxava físicament ajagut i tindria una mirada molt feliç; també hi hauria ronrons i algun gatet rodant pel terra! No només això, sinó que l'estat emocional general i els nivells de benestar de Tiggs també van començar a canviar. Va passar de ser un noi molt estressat i hipervigilant (que saltava al més mínim soroll i s'amagaria si accidentalment tombava alguna cosa o m'agafava amb una urpa en joc) a un llangardaix elegant i relaxat, estirant-se. al seu radiador preferit o a l'ampit de la finestra! No m'equivoquis: en Tiggs encara s'estressa de vegades, però el seu comportament general i la seva resistència emocional han millorat molt: és com un nen diferent! Així que, per descomptat, vaig oferir a la RSPCA els meus serveis com a voluntari, per entrar i donar Reiki a alguns més dels residents de la RSPCA! Havia ajudat molt als meus Tiggs i volia ajudar tants animals que ho necessitaven com fos possible. The accreditation requirements were reassuringly rigorous, and involved an application form, competency questions, submission of case studies and sending in in certification and Animal Reiki professional Insurance for verification and validation. As one of their certified Animal Reiki Practitioners, Ema Melanaphy appears on the UK Reiki Federation's Searchable directory for Animal Reiki Practitioners, which you can access here . This certificate was awarded to Ema after completion of the first year of a 3-year Shiatsu Diploma course (which took 2 years, due to the pandemic preventing normal teaching and practice treatments during the lockdowns and Social restriction rules. Ema was the only 1st year student to complete the course requirements and to receive this certificate, in their year group.
